I think she looks fabulous and does a good job doing it too. Working Out, Normally, Isabelle works out first thing in the morning mainly in the gym with her trainer Rachael. Her circuits involve the core, leg, booty, and arm. I love this as it is a way to get a bit of cardio in. What I...

Having a Flat Tummy

Having a flat tummy is probably one of the top goals most of us have when we start working out. And the good news is it is actually easier to lose belly fat than slimming down legs and thighs. In fact, in women and girls, one of the areas we tend to see results first is usually the belly area. Women tend to store extra fat in their thighs and butt compared to men who tend to store more fat in their bellies. So for us as women, it is easier to reach the flat tummy goal. Two ways help with losing belly fat. The main one has been eating a calorie deficit diet and the second one has been doing HIIT workouts. Eating at a calorie deficit. Ideally, women should consume around 2000 calories a day. To be at a deficit, we subtract 300 from that so it is 1700 calories a day. Eating at a deficit helps the body use up the stored fat in substitute for the fewer calories you are having. This way you use some of that stored belly fat. Since now you have your calories noted down, check on your macron...

SLIMMING DOWN YOUR LEGS

"How do I slim down my thighs?" To me, anyone who wants to slim down most probably has been in some workout routine that made the thighs look bigger or not change at all. This is very common among us. Most often we get into a workout so we lose some weight especially fat. After a few workout sessions and everything else done right(including diet) we do lose the fat but continuing with working out we stress the muscles more and they grow. When a muscle is overworked it grows. That is where we notice our legs are getting bigger. Today I wanted to share some tips on what to do if on this stage.     The first tip is always to Stop doing the workouts which you thought might have bulked you up. A lot of the programs out there have a lot of "hard workouts". These are workouts that overuse our leg muscles making muscles grow in them hence looking bigger. Popular workouts include lunges, squats, cycling, high knees, running up a hill, and such. Some forms of dancing wor...

CALVES ; HOW TO TRY SLIM THEM DOWN

Calves are some of the most common trouble spots among women. It is that part that is behind the leg just below the knee. Sadly, if we overwork the muscles there this muscle will grow too big for our liking. To some of us, this is usually not our end goal when we start to work out to slim down our thighs. The most common reason why your calves might grow bigger is because of overworking out. Some workouts in particular overuse the calf muscles and make them bigger.  Some of these workouts are; Jumping Rope. Running too much especially when you use the toes in running. Cycling. Elevated walks. Stairs training. I am not against such workouts, it is just because a lot of us are looking to slim down our legs without building extra muscle. So here's how you can work out right avoiding building extra muscle in the calves. Do all your walks on a flat surface Do all the runs on a flat surface use the heel-toe technique while running so all your foot is on the ground. Do the type o...

HOW MY SLIMMING DOWN JOURNEY IS GETTING ALONG; WITH PICS

I really wanted to put this part together to show you all how I am doing. Of course, this post is going to be updated regularly when I notice new results. First of all, this is where I am at as of July 2021. Left is in mid-2020 and right is July 2021 Let's now see where it all started,  I worked out a lot in 2018. Doing all the wrong types of workouts, disregarding diet, and not knowing a lot about bulking legs. Then my goal was to lose weight overall. Read my bulking up story  Here See my 2018 Snapchat(just before I got into working out), Working out through 2018, 2019, and early 2020 my upper body got pretty toned but my legs didn't. As a matter of fact, they got bigger. I was so disappointed and frustrated I stopped working out. See my ab area in March 2020, And my lower body area around the same time, Around Mid year 2020, I learned about lean legs and that women can get bulky, and that my legs were bulky! I had mixed emotions, I was so excited, and I was confused...

SADDLEBAGS , HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM

Saddlebags are the casual name given to the fat that accumulates on the outer thighs just below the butt. It is one of the most common 'trouble spots', especially for women. I too really struggle with saddlebags. Most women do store extra fat in their thighs and butt compared to men who store most of their extra fat in their belly area. Saddlebags are therefore more common among women. Okay seriously, it's weird to see a guy with saddlebags! Saddlebags can be caused by several factors, Hormones - during a woman's reproductive years the body releases estrogen. This hormone usually triggers the accumulation of fat during pregnancy and since women have larger pelvises, some fat gets stored in that area. Been Inactive- when you are inactive, sitting all day, underusing those butt muscles; fat stored in the butt area tends to fall out to the sides. Sometimes this leads to saddlebags. (This attacked me directly) Genetics- Sometimes we just inherit stuff from our family me...
